South Carolina Equestrian Ministries (SCEM) is a Christian organization of believers in Christ, with a mission to take the news of Christ’s saving grace to the equestrian world and beyond.
Members enjoy Christian fellowship with those who desire to share God’s love and the Gospel of Jesus Christ through various activities and events involving horses. Horse ownership is not a requirement to participate.

SCEM is comprised of several fellowships located throughout the state. Each fellowship operates independently of each other, but under the leadership of SCEM. Many plan weekend trail rides and overnight camping trips. Also on their agendas are fun day events open to the public, ministry outreach projects to meet the physical and spiritual needs of those in the community, organized 3-day weekend horse events that include trail riding, an evening social time, and cowboy church on Sunday.

Our goal is to let others see that Christ can be the center of our lives whether at the barn, arena, out on the trails, attending a horse event, or sponsoring an event of our own and to lead the lost to salvation. Ministries include: cowboy church, Bible study at the barn, equestrian drill team, fun days, training clinics, parades and more.

Our Beliefs

South Carolina Equestrian Ministries is open to all who share the belief in Jesus Christ.  Our common doctrine of faith is Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  He was born of a virgin and walked among us as a human being.  He died on the cross so that all who believe in Him may be saved from their sins and have eternal life.  He was raised from the dead and ascended into Heaven.  He will someday return in power and glory to judge the world.

If you would like to know more about how to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ come and fellowship with us.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:  no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.  (John 14:6)
